A Proposal for the Creation of the Formation
		Research Institute on Origins
	=============================================

We would like to propose to the readers and contributors of netnews
as well as other interested parties to participate in the creation
of the (Hellenic) Formation Research Institute (FRI) on origins.
The purpose of the institute is to promote Scientific Formation
Theory (SFT) and to disprove false theories of origins such as
evolutionism and creationism.
We welcome readers and contributors of netnews to contribute
articles supporting Scientific Formation Theory.

The following is an example of the topics to be covered by SFT:

1. The world was formed (not evolved or created)
2. Simple forms of life were formed from more complicated ones.
3. Some frogs and and some humans do not share a common ancestry.
4. The earth's geology can be explained by a catastrophe brought
about by a huge fire (see for example Wagner's Gotterdammerung).

Short Terms Goals of the FRI
----------------------------

To promote scientific research in Scientific Formation Theory SFT.

Prove that SFT is the only true theory pertaining to the formation
of life on earth.

Disprove false theories such as evolution and scientific creation.

Demonstrate that SFT is a science that is not based on a particular
religion.

Require that SFT should be given a balanced treatment in the public
school classroom. Whenever "evolution theory" is taught,
a balanced treatment should be given to formation theory in the
classroom lectures taken as a whole for each course, in textbook
materials taken as a whole for each course, in library materials
taken as a whole for the sciences and taken as a whole for
the humanities, and in other educational programs in the
public schools, to the extent that such lectures, textbooks,
library materials, or educational programs deal in any way
with the subject of the origin of man, life, the earth, or
the universe.

Promote debates with creationist and evolutionists by qualified speakers.
SFI speakers should preferably hold two Ph.D. titles. A preferred
area of specialization for the speaker is for example: garbage
recycling. Hydraulic engineering is absolutely unacceptable.

Long Term Aims of the FRI
-------------------------

Constitutional amendment stating that formation theory is the only
true theory on the subject of the origin of life on earth and the universe.

Lobby for legislation on the federal, state and local level, stipulating
that formation theory is the the only true theory on the origin
of life and the universe.

Elect a president of the United States who has a favorable attitude
toward SFT.

Request funds from the NSF for a continued financial support of
formation research.

Membership in the FRI:
---------------------

To join the Formation Research Institute, one must sign the
following statement: "The Dungeons and Dragons 'Deities and Demigods'
manual is the true word of Zeus, and because I believe it to be inspired
throughout, all of its assertions are historically and scientifically
true."

Location of FRI
---------------

A preferred location for the FRI is Mount Olympus (Not Mt. Ararat).
