. ...was paging thru my Cadillac Cyclopedia this morning before heading to work, and ran across a SC-case between a southern- state and some individual whose last name starts with "B", on the issue of the constitutionality of requiring school-attendees to recite the pledge of allegience; basically, SC shot down a lower court ruling favoring the requirement, stating that the "right to silence" was at least as important as the "right to speech"; any ideas on whether or not this might apply in the School-Prayer issue? ...and given the fact that RR pledged 4 years ago to do something on this issue, then forgot about until now, does anyone really think that he won't do the same again, that this isn't just a piece of political-hype designed to garner votes without the slightest intention of seeing it all the way thru? doug
