Subj: evolution ?

THE FOSSIL RECORD is undeniably real and compelling, but it is ivital
that the discussion/debate continue over What-It-Means and How-old-it-is.
Scientists trying to understand man and his environment and
theologians trying to understand man and God it is LESS important
that one Know-All-The-Answers and MORE important that both Continue-to-search?

Is there really a conflict between "laws of science" and the
"infallible bible" ? Isn't there more of a GAP in how WE understand and
intrepret BOTH!? I submit to you that God is NOT a magician, that He works
in ways consistant with his own laws, a few of which we have begun to
understand (e.g. law of gravity) but don't really! (see GUT, Grand Unification
Theory) But since He understands them completely, He is able to tickle the
universe to achieve whatever he wants. In other words, it seems proper that
God uses "available means" to achieve his purposes, whether that means
using a surgeon to cure you or using ancestors to evolve you.
Otherwise, we are faced with no way to prove that the total universe,
fosil record, personal memories, skills and diseases, et cetera, were NOT
created precisely 5 minutes ago (or 5 millenia ago).
There are currently seven different theories of "evolution". None
of which I am sure describe exactly HOW God-Did-it!

Subj: what is "good"?

Isn't it just possible that "god" knows what he's DOING and will bring "good"
( His definition, not mine ) out of non-good including suffering, sorrow,
and pain?

Subj: Machine-readable-bible

The new testament has been entered on 6 floppy disks.
The old testament is now being entered. Here is a pointer:

There are not seven different theories of evolution. There are more than
likely several hundred different *opinions* of the mechanisms of evolution!

It's not the same!
