[] I was at a meeting given by "The Foundation of Universal Unity" at the University of Southampton (England). This was my first contact with the organization. My feelings after the event were that the people there were pleasant, open minded and sincere; freely admitting that they did not have a magic answer to the problems of the world. They hold an annual conference on Human Unity, which I thought might be of interest to people in this news group. The following text is an extract from literature provided by the foundation. I am not in a position to comment on the organization, I just pass on the information for those who wish to investigate it further. Chris Isbell. The Historical Perspective: Initiated in India by a renowned teacher, Sant Kirpal Singh, Human Unity conferences have been held each year in a different part of the world -- in Mexico, Austria, Spain, India, The United States, Canada, Brazil, and most recently in England. This year's conference is being held in the USA, in the heart of Boston at Simmons College, July 19-22, and will accommodate up to 650 people from many countries. Every year this conference is sponsored by a different organization. This year's host will be the Whole Health Institute...
