Boswell meet Hugh J. Schonfield! (An incredible plot we should passover.) Pass the mushrooms. This season I am catching the bus with my incredible new study of the life and times of Tony the Great, erroneously identified by eleven centuries of history scholars as Alexander the Great. Based on just yonks of study of the origional text(s) - I forget which, and my degree in ancient European languages from Calcutta University (downtown branch - it came in the mail just yesterday!), I have determined that Tony (Alexander) was really Italian!! There is amazing evidence to show that Tony did not LEAD the greek armies - he was being CHASED!! At this time it is not known why. What could he have done to have pissed off that many people? (Suggestions netters?) It all started for me when I found an ancient manuscript in a used pasta can in a garbage dump outside Naples . . . but that's for the sequel. Anyway, if you are in the Hudson, N.H. area tonight you can hear me speak under the Merrimack River bridge (north side) at 11pm. (Bring a baseball bat if you are not "that way".) I will be available to sign copies of my book "They Got It All Wrong" which will be on sale. For next season, if there is no call for a sequel to "Wrong", I am preparing a blockbuster expose of modern plate tectonics based on my "continental drip" theory. Hint: have you ever noticed if you look at a world map how all the continents seem to drip like on the Sherman Williams paint advertisement? Keep chargin' Cheers, Ken Arndt

Well, folks, it looks like naughty Ken Arndt is up to his old tricks once again (been a while since net.women?). Say, Ken, this irresistible impulse you're periodically in thrall to: is it keyed to sunspots, phases of the moon, business cycles? Cheers, Ron Rizzo
