The following segment of my posting of the Table of Contents of the recent issue of "Christianity Today" magazine prompted Y. S. Martillo to comment that Beth Spring would like to take away the religion of these "Boat People". INSIGHT ---------- Refugees: Off Sinking Boats into American Churches 26 by Beth Spring Refugee populations in the United States may provide one of the most significant home mission fields ever seen. Sigh. Read the article, Mr. Martillo. You might learn a little more about what "missions" means to many Christians. I am suprised that you would pronounce such a judgement from ignorance. One General Comment: I post the TOC of "Christianity Today" strictly for the information of those who are interested. If you aren't interested, please ignore the posting. I think it is a foolish gesture to make uninformed pronouncements on the content of, or motivation behind, the articles based on the table of contents. -- Paul Dubuc {cbosgd, ihnp4} !cbscc!pmd "The true light that enlightens every man was coming into the world..."
