I found the following statistics in the San Francisco Chronicle.
They are from a new book "How You Rate - For Men". It said that
3 out of five men place a illegal bet during the course of a year.
They broke down betting habits by religion. The results
struct me as interesting. I am passing them on without comment.

Presbyterians 74%
Episcopalians 74%
All Protestanst 54%
Baptists 43%
No religion 40%
Bible oriented sects 33%
