In reply to an old article questioning which commandments should we follow, I refer you to the story in the New Testament (I am rather ignorant Biblically, but I generally know the two parts) in which the Pharisees asked Jesus roughly the same question -- which is the greatest commandment. Jesus responded, Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and all thy soul and all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like unto it: Love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. I find these two commandments very easy to remember and to follow. They are much more universal than other things that one can read in the Bible (such as Paul's teachings, some of which are pretty awful unless you take time, place, culture, etc. into account).
