<Does this line exist?> Atheists don't believe in God/Supreme Being/George Burns etc. Most atheists don't argue that jesus didn't EXIST, only that he was not the son of god. As for prejudice against atheists - well, in some states it would be difficult for an atheist to give evidence in court. If you HAVE to swear to god to give evidence, you either: Refuse to swear to god (contempt of court) Swear to god (hypocritical) Also, if you swear to god, the prosecution could harp on it.

There was one old Quaker who, upon being "sworn in" in court, stated, "I neither swear nor affirm, I tell the truth".
