>>>It would seem that this Paul character is the antichrist that Christians >>>have been speculating about for thousands of years. He takes all of >>>Jesus' teachings of love, tolerance, and justice, and subverts them >>>into "thou shalt not"s and intolerance and the same "letter of the law >>>vs. spirit of the law" that Jesus was supposedly trying to eradicate. >>>Hmmm... I recommend that you re-take that LOGIC DESIGN class, > or perhaps read a book on thinking for one's self.[ROSEN] And perhaps you could give some EXAMPLES of the subversions of which you so glibly speak. Shouldn't be hard, since Paul subverts ALL (see above) of the teaching of Jesus. Every last one of them. P.S. You could start with, e.g., Jesus' expansive tolerance for the moneychangers. Or Paul's cruel and hardhearted directions to the Corinthian church to receive back into full fellowship the guy he told them to kick out for immorality, after the guy repented. -- Paul DuBois {allegra,ihnp4,seismo}!uwvax!uwmacc!dubois "Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight."
