I know I'm likely to get flamed for this, but it does seem to me that Mr. Ben David is so insistent on the Jewishness of Y'shua and the N'tzarim because he finds it hard to accept that God might want to extend his love to the entire world, not just the nation of Israel. Did not God prophesy to Abraham that through him *all* nations of the earth would be blessed? -- -- Jeff Sargent {decvax|harpo|ihnp4|inuxc|seismo|ucbvax}!pur-ee!pucc-h:aeq This space temporarily out of service.

And so they can be, but not while continuing in their paganism. Does not your own book mention repentance. If you understood the full meaning of the term as it was intended by the Jewish authors you would have a different outlook. If you think I'm against ANYONE coming to know God you are badly mistaken. What I'm against is deception, falsity, twisting and perverting manuscripts and misleading masses of people into following a counterfeit image. That can never 'save' anyone. And perpetuating the ignorance of all of this is a game of the blind leading the blind. It was the authentic Jewish Y'shua who declared that you should know the truth, and the truth would set you free. I suggest you search MUCH more studiously for the truth.

Yirmiyahu, if you are going to make statements like "If you understood the full meaning of the term as it was intended by the Jewish authors you would have a different outlook" [referring to "repentance"], expect us to demand to know what YOU think this "intended meaning" is. How are we supposed to understand your argument when you won't even tell us what your position means? Without an explanation of what you think they meant by repentance, you are just engaging in name-calling. Try us. We too are thinking human beings. Charley Wingate seismo!umcp-cs!mangoe
