THE LOTUS SUTRA (sacred protocols of Zen Baptism part II) A controversy developed between adherents of the Europa and Esprit models. Film actors portraying secret agents were prominent in this dispute. Patrick McGoohan definitely leaned to the former, while the loyalties of James Bond were claimed by both sides. One night after reluctantly admitting an unexpected guest to his flat, he was later heard intoning: "Oh Moneypenny, oh Moneypenny, oh Moneypennyoooooh" Hinayana and Mahayana Buddhists were sharply divided on this point (ascetic followers of the Hahayana sect of the Laughing Buddha remained neutral). At the 1952 Le Mans Grand Prix the Tibetan boddhisattva Tu Long Dong had an early lead in his supercharged Europa, but refused to cross the finish line until not only the other contestants, but every single sentient being had done so.
