[net.religion] That does it, Brunson

[reply-to: brunson@usfbobo.UUCP (David Brunson)]

I've had it. None of Brunson's opponents seem to want to give his
question (the one he keeps repeating for the "N+1th" time) the answer
it deserves. I can't let it be thought that their wishy-washy replies
represent the only grounds of opposition to Brunson.

Now listen carefully, Brunson. You are wrong. You should lose the
case in your example. The reason is that your action harms, not helps,
the homosexuals you discriminate against. It also harms society by
giving a less-qualified person the job.

See Brunson, none of this wishy-washy "you shouldn't impose your values"
from me.  It's not that imposing values is always and everywhere wrong;
it's just that you're trying it with the wrong values. You warned your
previous opponents that they should not be willing to give up arguing
with you because that leaves the issue to political battle. I hope it
does not come down to that, but if you think I'm scared: I laugh in
your general direction.

Pass the ammunition, and may the best idea win!
