Just out of curiosity, has anyone out there actually witnessed something
like this?
I don't want to hear from anyone who knew someone who witnessed this, or
heard about it, just from someone who saw the ice cube and the blisters.

I mean, the screaming, I can believe. The blisters? Let's just wait
until we hear (or don't hear) from someone.

Well, I didn't witness it. I was involved in it. I'd show you the blisters,
but they healed years ago. When I was in high school, one of the things I
was very involved in was hypnotism. Among other things, I studied
susceptibility to suggestion under the influence of a hypnotic trance. Some
people I was working with put me under and ran me through my paces. Besides
speaking latin at one point (which I don't speak, BTW, jeff) they did the
famous ~You are being touched by...~ trick. It worked, and I created
appropriate blisters and burns. You would be absolutely suprised at the
things you can get your body to do under the appropriate suggestion.

(Just for the record, the Latin I spoke was, after a lot of research, a
High Mass I had watched on Television a number of years previous. My
subconcious evidently stored it until I needed access to a language I
didn't know. Amazing what your brain can do to convince you of what you
want to believe, no?)

Burning people with ice cubes works. I've been burnt that way. My granddad
was a dentist before anaethetics were common in his part of the world, and
he used to practice painless dentistry by hypnosis. Sometimes it worked.
Mostly, it didn't. But it gets you wondering about the sometimes...
