[net.religion] Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.

Yirmiyahu Ben-David,

"Even as face answers face reflected in the water,
so one man's heart answers another's."
If you were truly the brother of Y'shua, then you
would have seen God face to face, and your heart would be
circumscribed by His Name.
Jesus said to Pilate, "My work is to bear witness
to the truth, and for this I came into the world, and all
who are not deaf to the truth listen to my voice."
But Pilate said, "What is truth?", and turned away.
Well, I am deaf, also somewhat crippled; and blind
without my contact lenses. And yet I am not deaf to the
truth. But do you, who have ears, do you hear?
I have told you the truth, but you will not listen.
The truth is that Jesus is the Christ, who has been
glorified by the self-revelation of God.
If you do not understand this, you do not understand
the power of God, so you cannot understand the Scriptures,
old or new, no matter your insufferable arrogance. For the
Gospels are like parables by Jesus within parables by Christ,
which make little sense without the grace of God.
For the beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord.
The power of God is in the Very Name of the Lord,
which can only be pronounced by He That Is the Creator of
Heaven and Earth. It is like the great flash of lightning in
the heavens, before which all Creation thunders, and every
heart trembles.
Which Name has been given to Christ: On that day
when we are called by the Very Name of the Lord, we by our
very thoughts are judged, and are made to understand about
Jesus, "This is my Beloved Son; listen to Him."
Therefore it is said, "The coming of the Son of Man
on His day is like the lightning flash which lights the earth
from end to end."
And, "the Son of Man has been raised up to heaven,"
and "is seated at the right hand of the power of God."
As Christ is glorified by God, therefore Christ has
become the Eternal Presence on Earth, even as he is resurrected
among the living forever.
As the apostle Paul has said, "By the grace of God,
I am what I am," and "It is not I who live, but Christ who
lives in me."
So by the glorious Pronouncement of the Lord, as in a
great flash of lightning in the human racial consciousness, a
hundred generations of mankind, like the thunder, have resounded,
"Christ has come."
For blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord.

If you should ever come out of your dream-state and have a mind
to talk sense in a scholarly manner you be sure to let me know.

By way of explanation, the reason I don't answer everyone's
questions when they could find the answers themselves is
primarily because I am one (count 'em) busy person trying my
best to answer a bunch of questions each from a bunch of people.
That adds up to more time than I can really afford so I hope
the readers will understand.
