Dave Trissel's article brings up a good point: it pays to check the
publisher of religious books, because almost all religious publishing
houses are attached to some denomination or doctrinal viewpoint. Zondervan,
for instance, has a strong fundamentalist slant (they publish the New
International Version); hence, one should not expect it to favor the
catholics much. A short and grossly inadequate list of some of the others:
Winston-Seabury: Catholic and Episcopal (Seabury used to be owned
by the EPiscopal Church)
John Knox: Presbyterian
Eerdmanns: Mythopoeic-Anglican
DOM: Catholic
There are, of course, many others.
