[net.religion] Rich Rosen - BE WARNED! - guess who is on my side?

ST. SUPERCILLIA (with a nod to Dorothy L. Sayers)

St. Supercillia, born in Paris about the year 1400, was a maiden of
remarkable erudition, who stedfastly refused to marry anyone who could
not defeat her in open disputation. When the best scholars of all the
Universities in Europe had tried and failed, her unworthy father brutally
commanded her to accept the hand of a man who, though virtuous, sensible,
and of a good estate, knew only six languages and was weak in mathematics.
At this, the outraged saint raised her eyebrows so high that they lifted her
right off her feet and out through a top-storey window, whence she was last
seen floating away in a northerly direction.

St. Supercillia is the patroness of Pendants.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does anyone actually recall a time when Ken's
logic was NOT defeated in open disputation (as opposed to *Ken's* methods of
disputation)? Is Ken threatening to float away if I ask him to marry me? :-)
(I'm sure he'd be on Cloud Nine if I did, but I just want to go steady.
Besides, the analogy falls through because the only languages I know are C,
PL/I, and ... never mind!)

Uh oh. Is Ken threatening to hang himself? (Like a pendant...) If so,
isn't this the wrong newsgroup?
