It just occurred to me that for a Baptist in Israel to call Jesus a great Jewish prophet is really rather like a Moslem going up to the first crusading pope and announcing that Mohammed was a great Christian prophet. He'd be lucky to keep his head on his shoulders. Now I don't think it is right to persecute Baptists in Israel, no matter how stupidly obnoxious they may be. But people tend to object to pamphleting children (with the idea that only parents have a right to choose what children will learn to believe.) That sort of thing is a political equivalent to "fighting words". Reminds me of the notebooks of Lazarous Long: "Stupidity is a capitial crime.
