This will be my last posting to the Net for awhile. But before I go, I would like to suggest something which is very controversial among my close Christian friends who are pacifists who have struggled so long against the politics of warfare: what I suggest to you who will listen is that you appeal to the representatives of the nations and the churches for creation of places of sanctuary for those who would leave their own countries in order to live peacefully. The Gospel does ~not~ say: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believeth in the Bomb shall not perish, but have eternal life. Some fundementalists who know better may prefer a "rapture", but if present militant policies do not change very soon, I personally recommend an Exodus. David Harwood
