The Jews and the Romans involved were just acting as God's instrument. This applies to every person who takes the title of "Christian". To blame it on the people who were the actual executioners is not valid, and to blame it on the descendents of those people is ludicrous. It would have been the same if any other particular group had been the Chosen People: the ultimate responsibility for the death of God's Son lies in the need for redemption to bridge the gap between the Creator and creation. It lies on the shoulders of each of us who professes to be Christian. -- aMAZon @ AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, IL; ihnp4!ihuxf!features "Uh-oh, now the cat's out of the bag!" -- Prudence
