Me too.. but what?

Right. It's easy to say "self-hypnosis" but much more difficult to
substantiate. It's the INTERRPRETATION of religious experience where
people infuse their own corrupt wishfull thinking onto the "truth."

Given an experience, different people will form different conclusions.
Some will look at the experience with a sincere eye towards knowing the
truth. Others will form an interpretation based on what they want to
believe. That's dangerous. The fundementalist will fall on his knees
and scream "praise the lord hallelujah ad nauseum..." The materialist
secular humanist will claim it was "a bit of undigested beaf... nothing
more... or some intense psychological phenominon." Boring.

But what is the TRUE interpretation? Is there one? Perhaps the experience
should be weighed against other similar experiences....
