[net.religion] Misuse of Rev/Logic - An Apology

rjb@akgua.UUCP (R.J. Brown [Bob]) (04/11/85)

[R.J. Brown writes:]
>Although I am honored by the title Reverend prepended to
>my name "Bob" ( though Rev is meant derisively by the
>caller), it is improper and offensive to do that.

>>[Bill Peter replies]
>> How do you know what was meant by me? In point of fact
>> I thought that you were a Reverend, and that you went

>> is usually something I would expect Bob Brown to do when
>> he is writing into net.religion.jewish.]

It amazes me that I would overlook the obvious.

As one who has suffered intentional distortion of my words and at
least no benefit of the doubt (especially from some of the contributors
to n.r.j.), I find my lack of grace in this area deplorable.

I apologize to Bill Peter, no excuses offered.
