On a recent edition of the Crossfire program on Cable News Network, David Duke of the NAAWP (National Association for the Advancement of White People) began a discussion of the attempted invasion of the island of Dominique by Identity Christian/American Nazi members. During the conversation, David Duke talked about one of his comrades, an "anti-communist mercenary" named "Don Black", who had been arrested by the FBI with five others for their part in the military adventure. (To those of you not in the know, the FBI sometime ago intercepted a boat in New Orleans harbor headed for Dominique with weapons, alcohol, and a Nazi flag with the intention of overthrowing the marxist government and setting up a white supremacist nation.) I do not want to imply that this "Don Black" of the aborted IC/NAAWP military mission is the same "Don Black" that we all know and love, but what a coincidence! After all, "our" Don Black did say that he served his country for seven years..... If he's still on the net, maybe he'll enlighten us as to his role (if any) in the attempted invasion. Oh, well, Jeff Gillette did say that the only thing Don Black can be accused of is asking a few innocent questions... -- bill peter ihnp4!surprised!shocked!amazed

His second name was Black. I am certain of this because I recall thinking at the time "how appropriate". Now that you have raised the question, I would also like to hear whether "our" Mr. Black is the same as the KKK one. (They espoused similar views). Padraig Houlahan.

But as far as I remember, he was not implicated in the IC invasion of Dominique. The Don Black of net.religion has claimed seven years of military experience and so would be the logical candidate for the invasion. However, I am far too busy to research my supposition. Maybe some- one else can enlighten us at a later date. -- bill peter
