I won't bother mentioning things such as quarks, touch tone dialing, the
RS-232 standard, and object-oriented programming. Instead, I shall mention
Lucifer. Looking in my concordance, Lucifer is only mentioned *once*, in Isaiah
14:12. Maachathi is another example. I can easily think of a trivia question
designer to want to know the answer to "what was the most famous Maccathian
export", yet the not only are we not told the answer to that question (which can
easily be thought of), but Maccathi is also only mentioned once, in Deuteronomy,
3:14.

> For Example (of the top of the head):
> - Telatransportation Acts 8:39-40, John 6:21
> - LASER beams in orbit (Star War Sys) Rev 13:13
> - Nuclear Wars Rev 6:12-14

Acts 8:39-40
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught
away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the
cities, till he came to Caesarea.

[I think that this just says that Philip decided that he ought to be on his way,
doing some more baptizing, and that the eunuch never saw him after that.]

Rev 13:13
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on
the earth in the sight of men,

[This doesn't say anything about LASER platforms in orbit. Fire can refer to
almost anything, including lighting. "From heaven" does not necessarily mean
"from orbit". What that should have said is this:

And he doeth great wonders, for he hath machinery about the earth, and this
machinery is at particular points about the earth, so that this machinery is
neither falling towards earth nor moving away from it. And this machinery pro-
duceth beams of light, and these beams are made with the photons in phase, so
that even when they travel unto the earth from such a distance, they travel in
straight lines, except when small atmospheric particles interfereth. And unto
the earth these beams of light were aimed, and they had strucketh the earth, in
the sight of men.]

Rev 6:12-14
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great
earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became
as blood;
And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her
untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together, and every
mountain and island were moved out of their places.
And the kings of earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief
captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid them-
selves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

[Notice that this isn't even a description of a war, God is doing all of this
for some reason. Also, it seems to be a fairly accurate example of what any
primitive person would think for a description of a major cataclysm. Where are
the lines such as:

"And unto the horizon was formed a great many balls of light, shaped verily
as mushrooms; and unto the people came a great many sub-atomic particles, and
these particles caused the people to become sick and die, and things were born
with mutations that were caused by glitches in their genetic material, and the
plains were as glass, and they did gloweth even unto the morning"?]
