First, I was referring to forks bending "by themselves", with NOBODY
touching them (as related earlier). This has never been filmed.
Second, Randi has also done this (pp. 227-228 in "The Magic of Uri Geller"
shows a series of photos of Randi bending a spoon held at one end by him).

>From the pictures I can only conclude that either the entire filming was a

From your statement I can only conclude that you make rash judgements based
on a few photographs showing a trick being performed. I suppose if I
1) make someone float in midair, 2) the people present are fooled, and 3) they
take pictures showing someone floating in midair, you would say this
eliminates the possibility of trickery. Right.

>Even though prop forks certainly could be made, I have yet to see a magician
>do what the pictures show. That's the problem I have with Randi and the like.

Read his book. Look at the pictures. He has already done it.

>They deny that forks have ever slowly bent in Uri's hands. There is something
>wrong here since there are people (including friends of mine) and film (at
>least one) which dispute that.

I can make forks slowly bend in my hands. It's easy!
Why does Geller continue to use STUPID,STUPID,STUPID magic tricks to augment
his fantastic, superhuman, brainbusting powers!? I mean, pick a number
from 1 to 10!?? Eesh. Plus all the times he has been caught with pre-
fractured spoons (ready-to-bend! Just at water!), pre-bend nails, etc.
He is laughable.

General note: The results of my Uri Geller think-alike contest are
coming in, to be posted soon. So far I am doing quite well in reading
all your minds precognitively!

I have seen (in person) a spoon bend in Randi's hand while he
was holding one end still between the tips of two fingers.
This was a spoon taken from the hotel restaurant.
(He did this using strictly natural methods, but it was
really mind bending :-) before he explained how he did it.)
