[net.religion] Swearing in court; The word God and non-believers

If I don't believe in God, then to swear "...so help me God." or
even "...one nation, under God..."  seems hypocritical.  I won't
put my honor (I don't like that word) on the line when I am saying
something I don't believe.  It's a matter of personal choice and
freedom.  By saying these things, it looks like I believe them when
in actuality, I don't.
