michab asks (on Oct.10 - sorry to be so late with a reply) if there is any truth in the rumor Jerry Falwell is going to run for President in '86. And asks the burning question, "Do I want my foreign policy decided by someone who expects Armeggedon in another 15yrs?" First of all Jerry (we are very tight) assures me that he will NOT be running. Just busy doing the kinds of thing only Liberal and Left Wing wearers of the 'cloth' are supposed to do - support a candidate and speak out on political issues, you know. (Doesn't it say somewhere in the Constitution - around the place about separation of Church and State - that right wing conservative ministers shouldn't mix religion and politics???) No doubt the Supreme Court will discover the above intention of the founding fathers shortly - unless perhaps Ronnie's guys arrive in time (they can always do it later anyway) to discover the opposite. Ain't it grand to be able to 'make' up the law as we go along?? Ahhhhh, the smell of Activism in the morning!!! Sort of smells like . . . fried liberals! Thanks for showing us the way. As for Jerry's expecting the Big Roll Call in 15yrs - that puts him way out of line with just about everyone else making the chicken dinner circut during election time, eh? I mean they - the 'outs' - see it all happening the day after the election if they lose it to those nitwits on the other side. Rememberhow Ronnie was a 'cowboy' and was going to get us all fried by the peace loving Russians through misunderstandings and his 'shoot from the lip' attitude??? Sure you remember. Besides, Jerry never has and never will put an actual date on the Last Trumpet Call. Scripture (you remember he believes it) forbids it. So go back to sleep. Regards, Ken Arndt
