[net.philosophy] life, freedom and death

Mountains are alive, but slow!

Socialism stinks, period. Libertarians unite.

Lets hear from folks that have faced death and had time to contemplate it
(sorry no car accident, "life flashed before me types"). 11 years ago I was
faced with what was generally considered (at that time) to be incurable cancer.
I had plenty of time to think about death. But to be honest the fear and pain
associated with the knowledge that the disease would probably end up in death
was nothing compared to the fear and pain associated with the cure.
