Some announcements from "The Objectivist Forum", Vol. 4, No. 6, Dec 1983.

Harry Binswanger will conduct a course on Objectivism at the University of
California at Berkeley in the Spring 1984 semester.  The course (Philosophy
198) is being offered in response to student requests, under Berkeley's 
"Directed Group Study" program.  For further informatoin, contact

Andrew Bernstein will offer a college course on "The Philosophy of Objectivism"
at The New School for Social Research in New York City in the Spring of 1984.
The course will focus on the ethics and politics of Objectivism.  Enrollment
is open to both New School students and auditors from the general public
(for informatoin, contact The New School at 212-741-5600).  Mr. Bernstein
taught philosophy for several years at Long Island Universtity and is currently
completing his doctoral thesis in philosophy at the City University of New 
York.

Leonard Peikoff and John Ridpath will debate two leading Canadian socialists
in Toronto on the issue: "Socialism or Capitalism - Which is the Moral System?"
The debate will be held at 8 p.m. on January 26, 1984 at Convocation Hall.
Advance tickets are $5 each; tickets sold at the door will be $6 each.  For
