Hey hey! I like it! This is my first time in net.phil and I must admit
I'm having a good time. A thought though. I noticed a few notes asking whether
mysticism belongs in this notesfile. I would have to say, most definitely!!
Philosophy is the tool through which we come to understand the 'world' around
us, whether physical, ideological, or mystical. We can perceive the physical
world, but we must rely on philosophy to answer the questions of explanation
and verification. The same applies to the area of mysticism.
It must be realized however that the mystic realm is perceived in a much different manner than the physical, or the mental for that matter.
While I'm on the subject, and as a last word, I recommend Ken Wilber's
"Eye to Eye", in which the author does a very good job of classifying the
different modes used to perceive reality.
                             Well later,
                           (I gotta learn this editor)
