I guess the argument that Goedel senatnces are contradictory is a little weak -- I equivocated the word "contradictory" with the concept of "self-denying". My point is that a Goedel sentance is a statement of fact which cannot be evaluated, much as a Lier s-paradox sentace can't. (Is that how you spell the word for a person who lies?) I don't feel real contrite about it, however.... Charlie Martin (duke!crm)
