This article is in response to Norm Andrews re his response to Tom Albrecht. The first fact that I would like to make absolutely clear is that no one knows whether or not abortion is murder. It's probably not likely that we will ever find out either. The pro-lifers can scream that abortion(I am specifying now abortion in the very early stages of life) kills legitimate human beings with souls, etc. and is therefore murder. The pro-choicers(or whatever you want to call them) can respond that at that stage the embryo/fetus is not a 'human being'. But it remains true that neither groups knows for sure that their position is correct. The pro- lifers say that they are right because their position comes from God/the Bible, but to say that is to pervert what is really a purely philosophical issue by bringing religion into it. I don't really know how the pro-choicers justify themselves. I am what many people would call an atheist, because I do not believe that God exists. At the same time, I am anti-abortion, because I believe that, regardless or whether or not it's murder, it is yet another manifestation of the pervasive DECADENCE of our society. It is, I feel, by it's very nature, immoral and evil. You might say that it is elementary to Natural Law. I am pro-capitalpunishment because I believe in justice for wrongs done, of which there is literally none left in this country. Believe me, Norm, I know how it feels to be frustrated by the masses of people who are ruled over by this ridiculous concept of God. But you needn't have been as abusive as you were of Tom. Especially on the net. Flames are more than welcome. -- "Our primary weapon is surprise..surprise and fear...our TWO weapons...." David J.
