I took Biep seriously initially (I was very relieved, of course, when he retracted) and I take Mr. Hummel seriously also, because, as yet, I have not seen him post a retraction to the net. I can only assume that he was perfectly sincere in what he wrote. Yes, I do believe that there are people in the world who would support such abominable ideas.
