[net.philosophy] Anyone know a good analogy for analogies?

The universe is like a huge bowl of jello. It jiggles
when you shake it, and you can kind of see through it. Should a
spoon get caught in it, the homogenity is irreversably affected.
More often than not, you can also see all kinds of fruit floating
around in it, although it is not completely known how they came
to rest in their positions.

In the same way, Knowledge is like a huge bowl of chili.
It burns on the way in, and makes you fart.
