[net.philosophy] -) A Sane Man Proposes A Time Travel Experiment

[Et tu, line-eater?]

C'mon, folks! We all KNOW how to travel back in time. Just follow the
instructions:

1) Find yourself a Constitution-class star cruiser which has a Warp 8 maximum
speed (but in practice can go Warp 12+).

2) Aim it at a star and crank her up to full throttle. The closer you get
to the star, the further back in time you go.

3) If you want to go into the future, at some point turn away from the
    star at full throttle.

4) If you find the time in the past you wanted to go to, for God's sake STOP!

(This is, of course, if you can't find a nearby planet with a handy-dandy
time portal or city lying around).
