Does anyone have a diagram of the wiring needed to change the Apple Communications card (A2B0003X, the old 110/300 baud one) from the standard speeds to 9600/? baud. Wiring for changing to 1200/300 and 4800/1200 are given in the manual, but no word of 9600. We had one, but it disappeared in a robbery one night, and we'd like to have another. Thanks in advance, -- Allyn Fratkin U.C. San Diego

To speed up a Communications card to 9600 baud: 1. Make the modification in the manual for 4800 buad. {15 of A2. Chip A1 still isn't required. 3. Cut the trace from A1 pin 2 to pin 38 of the edge connector and wire it to pin 37 instead (this won't work on the new cards with gold edge connectors as they don't have a contact for pin 37). -Joe Budge Apple Computer
