I am in the process of building up an apple system. I have populated a partially destroyed mother board and copied a new operating system. The system is now working with the exception of the joystick port. I am using a replacement power supply. The system is almost finished but I have a couple of areas where I need some information to help me finish the job. I would like to hear from anybody who is familiar with the D.O.S. I am trying to build a disk drive interface card and have many questions. Where does the D.O.S reside? What are the control and data lines that connect the card to the drive? What requirements are placed on the type of drive and disks that can be used?
