In respone to your net querry,
I use ASCII Pro Express on my Apple II+ with 300 bps
Hayes Micromodem.  I set ASCII Pro Express to emulate
a vt52 and use the following termcap:

apple|apple II running ascii express pro--vt52:\
        :bs:\
        :co#80:\
        :li#24:\
        :up=\EA:\
        :nd=\EC:\
        :ce=\EK:\
        :cl=300^L:\
        :cd=\EJ:\
        :ho=\EH:\
