    Is there any way to use another TV monitor with the Mac ?
I am willing to go inside and do some hard-wiring but I need to
know where to tap into the video signal.

    If it were possible, what kind of TV monitor do I need
(resolution, scan rate) ?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
