source: Wall Street Journal April 20 Apple has apparently sold Drexel University 3000 MacIntosh machines, 1650 of which will be sold to students next winter for about $1000 each. Apple acknowledges the agreement with Drexel but will only say that it concerns "an unannounced product". First hand experiences related by a Drexel vice president suggest the following (using his words): mouse video screen, disk drive, keyboard in one unit 23-24 lbs, can be transported in a soft case 16-bit microprocessor with 64K min memory (they call it the Apple DU--for Drexel University) they picked it because it was "easy to use"
