From: "Robert P. Cunningham" <cunningh@nosc.ARPA> I've just acquired Softerm2 (version 1.06, and I'm in the process of patching up to 1.07) which seems to work fine EXCEPT that ctrl-i tabs sent from Unix machines are not expanded to tabs on the screen. The problem seems to persist with whichever terminal emulation I use (I've tried VT52, VT100 and TVI925), so I suspect it's an artifact of my configuration or else something I'm doing wrong. The configuration I'm having problems with is: Apple II+ with Microsoft 16k card, Wesper 80-column card, and Apple Super Serial Card with Hayes Smartmodem 1200. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone with an idea of what might be wrong. Bob Cunningham (cunningh@nosc.ARPA or bob@islenet.UUCP) p.s. Softronics Inc. will introduce Softerm2 for the IBM PC in July, at which time they will switch their online response system to a regular BBS and the Apple SOFTERM.UPDATE file transfer setup for updates will no longer work. See the latest SOFTERM.NEWS at Softronics for more info.
