[net.micro.apple] Information on MAC programs requested

In many postings to fa.info-mac, one can see references to programs like
fromhex, tohex, SUMACC, etc.  *IS* it possible to get these programs if
one is not affiliated with a consortium university (which is where I am
assuming these come from)?  If so, how (and how much?).

Availability of the SUMACC programs is not so much a matter of whether one
is in the Consortium or not.  Rather it's a question of whether or not you
have access to an Arpanet (or Internet) site.  The programs are in a
preliminary beta test-like state.  Consequently no arrangements have been
made for wider distribution of the programs.
