From: Michael Grant <MGRANT@mit-mc.ARPA> This is an interesting idea. I have pondered this a while once. You know apple already supports a double density hires thingy on the ][e. I believe it makes a 560 X 192 display. the second page of memory comes from the upper 64K of the ram card. What you may be interested in doing is creating a Double-Double hires graphics. That is, take the two page twos (one normal, the other from the extra 64k card) and interlacing or juxtapose vertically with the page ones, thus Quad drupling the screen! Now, if you don't just happen to have a ][e with a 64k board, like me, this would still give you double density graphics without creating a double standard. That is, one would be double long, the other would be double wide, but the intention would have been to combine them in the first place! I'm not totally convinced this is worth the time, but it is sort of neet to think about. -Mike Grant
