I have recently acquired an Applied Engineering Z-80 Plus for my Apple II+. When I use CPM 60 there appers to be a timing problem between the Z-80 and the 16K ram card. The AE documentation states that this might be a problem and that perhaps I shuld replace the ram card. Has anyone else had this problemwith the AE card? Will replacing the RAM card work? AE has been really helpful and has sent me a replacement card, but I still have the same timing problem. Any assistance will be appreciated. I have a PCPI AppliCard which does indeed run at 6mhz (it's great!). They manage it by giving the card 64K of its own memory. It also makes clever use of the Apple memory -- it stores CPM there. That way, it never needs to go back to the system disk once it has booted.
