From: Doug Gwyn (VLD/VMB) <gwyn@BRL-VLD.ARPA> When I trundled by my local Apple dealer to look at the new color monitor, he said that the price would be about $900 total, or $600 for just the interface card if you supply your own monitor. He wasn't planning to stock any because he doubted there would be much market for them at that price. I was thinking about replacing my Comrex RGB monitor (which is limited to 8 colors, and one has to rearrange the R, G, B cables to get a reasonable mapping of the expected colors), but at these prices I dunno. What software support is existing or planned for the Apple Color Monitor 100? How about MousePaint, Graphics Magician, etc.?

I'd look for a new dealer. Mine quoted about $500 including interface. I don't know of any software specifically for the Mon 100, but any graphics are supposed to look better with it.
