[here little buggy...I've a nice fresh can of DDT for you (heh, heh)] Would someone please explain the logic (other than profit-motive) behind forcing someone to buy an Apple disk drive (a rip if ever I saw one) when you buy, say, a ][e? Having had both of my Apple drives (w/ relatively little storage) buy the farm to various degrees over the years, I firmly do not recommend getting one. However, if you buy an Apple thru a legit source, you have to. What if, for some strange reason, you want a bare-bones system (just the computer) and, say, a Rana Elite III or equivalent? Sorry, you don't get it (according to all the dealers I & my friends have contacted). Dieter Muller {lanl | unmvax}!nmtvax!djm Are you SURE Apple started out being nice to hobbiests :-)?
