Subject: Manx C & a query We just got MANX C for our Macintosh this week. A two sentence review is that the documentation is excellent, and the software really does what the documents say it does, except for a couple of bugs. And the people at Manx seem to be right on top of things bug wise and are mailing out fixed copies to people at lightning speeds. I have just started reading this so forgive me if this ground has already been covered, but does there exist out there in some obtainable form, a RAM disk driver for the 512k Macintosh? Most of that 512k seems to be unused. For example it seems like the Manx SHELL reloads itself from disk every time control returns from a program. If you could make a 256k ram disk then you would probably get all the extra memory speedups in the programs that are pushing the 128k limit, and get some use out of the other 256k as well. Michael Toy
