HAS ANYONE OUT THERE EVER TRIED CONNECTING A DEC LA50 TO AN APPLE II+. I HAVE AN APPLE SSC AND AM ABLE TO PRINT OUT TEXT. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PRINT OUT HI-RES GRAPHICS PICTURES. ANY INFORMATION ON SWITCH SETTINGS AND SOFTWARE ROUTINES WOULD BE HELPFUL. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

In addition if anyone can give a better explanation of the LA50 in graphics mode than is supplied by the ABOMINABLE manuals DEC provides with this printer I would certainly appreciate it! DEC seems to think you will connect it to your PRO and use "screen-print" all the time, and so you don't need to know how it works. The LA-50, by the way, is a very nice printer for the money and can often be cheaper than its Japanese cousin (considering that it has a serial interface).
