[net.micro.apple] Apple Pascal Keypress function

I'm having trouble using the KEYPRESS function in the unit APPLESTUFF.
The problem being that the function doesn't work.  I have a IIe with an extended 80 column board and am working with Apple Pascal version 1.1.   I
suspect that the problem lies with differences in I/O with the 80 col.
board. Does anyone know of a fix for this so that I can test for
keydown from a pascal program ?  If so, please reply by mail or post
to the net.  Thanks in advance.
