I am looking for some help on a problem a friend is ex- periencing. She has a IIe with an extended 80-column card and is encountering difficulties in running Ascii Express in half-duplex mode. Once she establishes communication with the host computer and interacts for about 30 seconds, her monitor "freezes" and the communications software hangs. Any possible solutions would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance. -- Anthony Ayiomamitis Dept Prev Medicine & Biostatistics Faculty of Medicine University of Toronto Toronto, Canada M5S 2T1 {allegra,ihnp4,linus,decvax}!utzoo!utcsstat!anthony {ihnp4|decvax|utzoo|utcsrgv}!utcs!utzoo!utcsstat!anthony

(see Byte , Dec 1984, page A120).
